I am a 46-yr-old Christian woman, married, with a 13-yr-old son, two dogs, a cat, a guinea pig, and far fewer plants than I'd like. I sing, boogie a bit (will be learning to belly dance soon!), alter books, write as the Spirit moves me, and am getting into self-portrait art dolls, among other mixed-media fun.

In realtime, my misc. interests have me involved in/w grp.s about movies, scrapbooking, socratic reasoning, poetry, book crossing, and knitting (that is, I'm trying-- again-- to learn). I'm also interested in starting to go letterboxing & birding w/my (extended) fam. as a fun & educational way to get pleasant exercise & to spend non-Dr.s'-appt.-related time together!

Professionally, I am becomming a "Once Upon a Family" consultant in addition to getting more organized and purposeful (ie, getting paid!) for making the vast variety of gift/souvenir albums I've done gratis for many years now. I still intend to travel to scrapbook conventions and retreats to teach (and possibly help man friends' booths, as needed), but judiciously, because while I need to make money to help support my household, I want to do it in such a way that I get to see my family every now and then!

Spiritually, my family's quest for "the church for us" continues. Anyone so inclined, please pray that the Holy Spirit will get through to us and settle us down in the right spot.
